Raytheon is seeking a Program Operations Manager, in support of the Global ISR Sensors and Software business. As the Program Operations Manager, you will assume overall ownership of the operations process (i.e., Contract award to MRP, Risk/Opportunity Management, MRP Health, factory performance, cost account management, & contract close-out) This position will be located ONSITE at our Westford, MA facility.

What You Will Do 

  • Own the operations process from contract award to close-out, including MRP, risk management, factory performance, and cost account management.

  • Oversee operations cost, schedule, and quality to ensure program success.

  • Coordinate program schedules with cross-functional teams to achieve on-time delivery (OTD).

  • Develop and execute Manufacturing Plans aligning business needs with factory capabilities, including capital planning.

  • Drive cost reduction initiatives for recurring efforts and new business opportunities.

  • Lead operations proposal activities, including task descriptions and cost estimates.

  • Interface with customers to address needs, issues, and service expectations.

  • Manage operations requirements for gate reviews and implement strategies for production.

  • Drive process improvements to optimize development and production value streams.

  • Attain Level 6 Program Management Certification within one year.

  • Support requisition release, material transfers, inventory analysis, and planning tasks, including production orders and engineering changes.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

  • Experience in Master Scheduling, Planned Independent Demand Management, Long-Term Planning, Router/Build Analysis, OTD, OBEYA reviews, and Sales Inventory & Operations Planning.

  • Experience with Managing, tracking and monitoring Return to Vendor (RTV) & Outside Processing.

  • Experience in program operations management, including end-to-end ownership of operations processes from contract award to close-out.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proficiency in Risk/Opportunity Management, MRP Health, and factory performance oversight.

  • Strong skills in cost account management and familiarity with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry, preferably with Global ISR Sensors and Software programs.

  • Experience with Earned Value (Estimate At Complete, Estimate To Complete), and/or Cost Account Management.

  • Experience with Continuous Improvement and/or Lean Manufacturing Principals.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Previous experience working onsite in a production or operations facility is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
