About the role:
As a Program Manager Lead in the Professional Services team you will be responsible for working with major clients, managing projects within the Lending/Capital Markets space. You will implement and oversee the entire project lifecycle of projects from initiation to final completion.
What you will be doing:
Establishing and implementing best practice for overseeing the project lifecycle
Ensuring consistent adherence to critical deadlines, scope of work and budgetary constraints
Facilitating project plans with cross functional teams and analysing financial data and identifying financial market trends to provide actionable insights for strategic decision making
Leveraging industry proven checks and balances to mitigate risks, optimise project workflows and implement best practices for overall project efficiency
Driving continuous improvement or core processes and fostering innovation within the evolving landscape of financial technology
Some travel (up to 20%) will be required within Australia as well as the Asia Pacific region
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
Knowledge of the industry project management best practices, i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and the FIS Enterprise Project Management Methodology (EPMM)
Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, AGILE design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project application
Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
Knowledge of financial services industry in particular Lending or other Capital Markets products
Experience with both large solution implementations at external client organizations and solution development projects
Demonstrated ability to design and implement Project Governance frameworks
Demonstrated ability to manage C-Suite level stakeholders and guide decision making forums
Demonstrated ability to establish budgets, forecast and manage financial results
Demonstrated strong business acumen
Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature
