About the Program Manager – Samsung: 

The Program Manager will lead a team of DMR Business Development Managers (BDMs) focused on driving revenue growth and market share at CDW. This role requires a hands‑on leader who excels at coaching, developing sales talent, and building a high‑performance culture. The Program Manager will be based in the Chicago CDW office 2–3 days per week to provide real‑time coaching and training, ensuring the team is equipped to achieve ambitious sales goals. 

Location: Chicago, Illinois  

 

What Will You Do? 

  • Onsite Leadership: Spend 2–3 days per week in the Chicago CDW office to coach, train, and support the sales team in real time, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment. 

  • Sales Team Development: Conduct regular 1:1s with BDMs focused on sales performance, pipeline management, and goal‑based improvement. Provide actionable feedback and personalized development plans. 

  • Sales Playbook Creation: Build, refine, and implement sales playbooks that align with the program’s vision and CDW’s go‑to‑market strategy. Share sales best practices with the team to drive consistent execution. 

  • Performance Management: Oversee quota attainment, pipeline health, forecasting, and data‑driven performance analysis. Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets and KPIs.  

  • Business Reviews: Develop and deliver monthly or quarterly business reviews to internal and client stakeholders—including senior leadership—highlighting program achievements and opportunities for growth. 

  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Engage and coordinate with support teams such as BI, financial analysts, training, and other resources to maximize program impact. 

  • Staffing & Retention: Maintain staffing optimization through deliberate hiring, retention strategies, and performance planning. Apply employee policies and compliance standards. 

  • Strategic Initiatives: Identify and execute strategic initiatives to grow and adapt the program to market conditions and client needs. 

  • Operational Excellence: Manage program finances, including client billings, expenses, and budget attainment against gross margin goals.  

 

What Will You Need to Succeed?  

  • Demonstrated experience working within the CDW environment, with a strong understanding of CDW’s sales processes, culture, and operational requirements. 

  • Experience in a sales environment, with direct leadership experience managing individual contributors or leaders. 

  • Proven track record of coaching sales teams to achieve performance goals. 

  • Experience building and implementing sales playbooks and sharing sales vision with teams. 

  • Strong understanding of sales pipeline management, forecasting, and data analysis. 

  • Experience managing client or stakeholder relationships in a sales context. 

  • Proficient in CRM, sales acceleration platforms, and Microsoft Office 365 applications. 

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with teams, senior leadership, and internal resources. 

  • History of developing and presenting business reviews in live or virtual settings. 

  • Growth mindset and commitment to professional development.

US Salary: Compensation Range: $80,000.00 - $94,000.00 

The salary range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $85,000.00 annually. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $9,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
