Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed strategic program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Ensure programs adhere to governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Implement best practices for program management and operational efficiency.
  • Support third-party onboarding and engagements as needed.
  • Prepare status reports and business updates for leadership, summarizing trends, risks and progress. 
  • Influence and collaborate across functions and translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance program outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Identify emerging trends and provide thought leadership to inform future strategies.
  • Support enterprise initiatives beyond core program scope when required.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as priorities evolve.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within banking or insurance.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, cross-functional programs.
  • Proven ability to support and influence leadership in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of financial principles, operational processes, and business performance drivers.
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfort with strategic planning and change management.
  • PMP certification or equivalent certification is an asset.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and agile methodologies is an asset.

Salary:

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
