About the role:

Gartner seeks an accomplished and versatile PMO Operations Program Manager to provide robust support for technology strategy and operations, thereby advancing IT projects and programs that empower the organization’s mission. The selected candidate will be entrusted with the stewardship of enterprise-wide initiatives, the refinement and governance of PMO processes, and the orchestration of comprehensive reporting across all projects.

What you will do :

  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive the execution of defined business strategies, optimize processes, and achieve targeted outcomes.

  • Forge strategic partnerships with functional, infrastructure, cloud, AI and other operational teams both within and external to the business unit to propel key initiatives.

  • Engage with project teams to deliver holistic reporting and analytical insights on IT performance, supporting the harmonization and consistency of technology metrics and reporting frameworks.

  • Employ advanced data visualization techniques to transform complex data sets into compelling graphical narratives, thereby elucidating actionable findings and facilitating data-driven decision-making.

  • Report program and project progress to senior management, overseeing the timely publication of monthly management reports and executive updates.

  • Champion consistency in execution across all teams, proactively identifying opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and fostering consensus among stakeholders with divergent priorities.

What you will need:

  • 9-12 years of progressive experience in technology environments, with a strong preference for backgrounds in strategy and operations; at least 4 years of direct responsibility for strategic operations and executive-level reporting.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and delivering persuasive executive-level presentations, with the capacity to distill and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts and analyses in an accessible and compelling way.

  • An analytical and data-driven mindset, with proven ability to interpret multifaceted data and provide actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decision-making.

  • Familiarity with standard business applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Share Point, Jira, Confluence and PowerBI for the acquisition, processing, and reporting of data.

  • Experience in project risk management, encompassing the identification, assessment, and formulation of mitigation strategies for potential risks.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adhere to deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure within a dynamic, fast-paced distributed team environment.
