This position offers an annual salary up to $65,000.

Job Description
Basic Purpose
The Program Manager coordinates, supervises, and manages various administrative functions within the Department while providing highly technical administrative support and assistance to one or more divisions and/or program areas.
Typical Functions
- Independently research, collect, process, and summarize information and data from various sources.
- Perform clerical, administrative, and office management type duties including proofreading of documents.
- Create, maintain, and organize complex files.
- Transcribes information with a high degree of accuracy.
- Handles incoming calls and visitors, directing them to relevant Department staff.
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve problems in a self-directed manner.
- Work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that daily assignments, tasks, and projects are planned and executed efficiently.
- Effectively communicate information to a variety of audiences.
- The Program Manager may also be assigned the following duties:
- Manage and facilitate the processing of invoices, requisitions, purchase orders, and payment of claims.
- Facilitate the acquisition of goods and services serving as the Department’s primary p-card holder.
- Prepare financial reports and other general financial accounting functions.
- Strategically follow and ensures adherence to the Department's purchasing function through requests for acquisition, purchase orders, and delivery/receipt processes.
- Ensure compliance with state purchasing statutes and regulations.
- Maintains records related to revenues, expenses, purchases, warrants, purchase orders, and other financial transactions.
- Maintains financial records related to electronic and check payments received by the Department.
- Assists with assembly of necessary documents as part of preparation for trials and hearings.
Education and Experience
Education and experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of professional supervisory, managerial, consultive, or technical administrative experience in business or public administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting one year of professional experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity for each year of the requested education.
