Job Summary:

As the Program Manager, IT Operations - Infra/Ops Alignment at Endeavor Health, you will partner with IT leadership to support operational and strategic initiatives of the Infrastructure and Operations team. This work will support the clinical needs, business needs, regulatory requirements and comprehensive IT asset life cycle management. Helps in ensuring appropriate IT operational KPIs and SLAs are delivered successfully. Appropriate vendor management and escalation support is provided to help patient-facing operational departments and internal IT to maintain their productivity metrics.

 

This work will involve leading, overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery and management of multiple program and projects to deliver business value. You will establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with various IT departments, Supply Chain, Finance, Environment Health & Safety, and various Operational departments. The IT Operations Program Manager will implement enterprise-wide sustainable programs, projects and ensure timely support coordination to ensure and position Endeavor Health for strategic and operational success in the future, with a focus on providing safe, seamless, and personal care.

 

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices.

What you will do:

  • Leads in ensuring IT operational services, KPIs, and SLAs are delivered successfully. Works with IT stakeholders to identify root cause and ensure permanent solutions are implemented.
  • Leads assigned operational activities, especially when multiple departments and teams are involved.
  • Serves as IT liaison for program-based, project-based and operational-related activities.
  • Develops and ensures compliance with system-wide Clinical Engineering policies, procedures and best practices for maintenance and support responsibilities, including regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Assist managing departmental financial performance. The emphasis will be on cost-efficient management, proactive escalation on budget-related issues and assist in annual capital and operating budget processes.
  • Manages all aspects of assigned IT operations programs and projects in support of the organization’s strategic objectives and ongoing operations.
  • Collaborates with vendors, including escalation support, to ensure systems and solutions are achieving or exceeding the needs of Endeavor Health.
  • Collaborates and regularly meets with various departments and service lines to effectively provide IT operational services. This may include various IT teams, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounts Payable, Environment Health & Safety, various Operational departments and 3rd-party vendors.
  • Leads reviewing and identifying opportunities from survey responses for continuous improvement in IT Infrastructure and Operations service delivery.
  • Demonstrates self-motivated behaviors, works independently and can work as part of a team. Demonstrates problem-solving skills and able to learn effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple parallel programs and projects, prioritize work independently and operate under tight deadlines.
  • Elicit and communicates technical and non-technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Performs on-call duties as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (technology related, healthcare technology, biomedical/clinical engineering or related field - required)
  • Experience: Seven (7) or more years of experience in Biomed or IT Operations or Clinical Engineering services within Healthcare industry.
  • IT or Clinical Engineering operational services experience.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure and operations systems and medical devices.
  • Exposure to technology program and project management.
  • Exposure to IT system and/or medical device integration with enterprise systems.
  • Working with waterfall and / or agile project management methodologies.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of various different types of IT systems and / or patient care equipment.
  • Ability to create reports and make presentations on operational and technical issues.
  • Ability to perform financial management to stay within approved budget.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills essential.
  • Proficiently manage multiple program and projects with efficiency.
  • Personal and ethical accountability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated: given appropriate direction for goals, must be able to work autonomously in a sometimes ambiguous and changing environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking for problem solving / issue resolution.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, prioritization, and planning skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of integrated healthcare systems, technologies and platforms (including both virtual and physical infrastructure environments).
  • Exposure to cybersecurity best practices for medical equipment and medic device integration.
  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
