The Program Manager – Orthopedics supports the planning, coordination, and launch of the Global Peak Performance Center (GPPC), a first-of-its-kind joint venture between Cleveland Clinic and professional sports organizations, including the Cleveland Cavaliers. This highly visible role partners closely with senior leadership to help build an innovative sports health model integrating clinical care, rehabilitation, imaging, and performance services within a single facility.

This role is responsible for coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives, maintaining key executive and athletic relationships, and ensuring operational readiness across multiple parallel workstreams. The Program Manager will work within a collaborative leadership structure that includes administrative and physician leaders, supporting the development of a fast-paced, high-profile program from the ground up. Success in this role requires adaptability, analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity while driving momentum across strategic initiatives.

A caregiver in this role will work 8:00am to 5:00pm.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of designated programs.  
  • Plan, develop and maintain systems and procedures.  
  • Act as liaison between the department and outside communities.  
  • Serve a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.  
  • Assist with the budgetary process. 
  • Manage, develop, implement and maintain operational systems and activities. 
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. 
  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and five years of related experience OR Master’s Degree and four years of experience 
  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development 
  • Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational, financial management and problem-solving abilities 
  • Strong presentation, communication and training skills 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Master’s Degree 
  • Healthcare experience 
  • Project Management experience
  • PMP certification
