Information Technology Services (ITS) provides RMIT University with Information and Communication Technology systems, services and support required by staff and students across both academic and administrative functions. ITS manages the University’s core technology platforms, enterprise applications, networks, and communication services, and enables secure and reliable digital operations across Australia and Vietnam.

The Role
Are you ready to lead a major cybersecurity uplift across the University? We are seeking a Program Manager to lead a multi-year Identity and Access Management (IdAM) program across Australia and Vietnam Operations.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and direct the implementation of enterprise Identity Governance, Access Management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and the integrations required to strengthen our cybersecurity foundations.
What You’ll Lead & Deliver:
End-to-end planning and delivery of the IDAM Program
Implementation of One Identity and related enterprise solutions
A sequenced multi-year roadmap aligned to cybersecurity priorities.
Improved identity processes and measurable business outcomes.
Resolution of current identity and access challenges across the University
Your Impact:
You will lead a high visibility Program, working with senior stakeholders, technical teams and vendor partners. You will oversee procurement activities, vendor evaluation, contract management and delivery sequencing to ensure successful adoption and long term sustainability of IDAM capabilities.

Skills & Experience
Lead the planning, procurement, and delivery of the IDAM Program, ensuring alignment to cybersecurity uplift priorities and enterprise architecture standards.
Develop and maintain the IDAM roadmap and delivery plan, sequencing program components such as Identity Governance (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Customer Identity (CIAM), and RBAC implementation.
Manage vendor and partner engagements, including leading tender processes, evaluation, and selection activities in collaboration with Procurement and Legal.
Oversee program governance, stakeholder engagement, and communication plans to ensure effective collaboration across business units, portfolios, colleges, and research entities.
Lead the program team, ensuring clear accountability, delivery discipline, and adherence to best-practice program management methodologies.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the program, ensuring expenditure aligns with delivery milestones and benefits realisation targets.
Strong Leadership to deliver the program.
Must have hands-on technical projects and program delivery experience - demonstrable
Financial Management
Experience in Cybersecurity and IDAM delivery
Strong leadership ability to start new significant program of work to be delivered globally and own the delivery end-to-end - have full accountability, responsibility to drive successful outcomes.
