As Program Manager , you will manage and maintain events and initiatives related to Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute. Your efforts will focus on developing systems and procedures to enhance patient care within the Cancer Center. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Hematology & Oncology, while also having numerous opportunities to interact with physicians, pharma vendors, residents, and medical students. This position offers a unique opportunity to advance your skills through extensive hands-on experience and help shape the future of healthcare.  

 

A caregiver in this position works on-site Monday-Friday, 8:00am—4:30pm, with a possible hybrid work schedule following one year in the position.  

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities. 

  • Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community. 

  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. 

  • Allocate time to meet completion requirements. 

  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. 

  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training  

  • OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of experience  

  • OR Associate’s Degree and four years of experience  

  • OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience 

  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Minimum two years event planning and coordination experience 

  • CME experience within healthcare 

  • Project management experience 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
