Labcorp is seeking a Program Manager to join our Finance team in Burlington, NC or Durham, NC.
Responsibilities:
Manage large, integrated initiatives spanning multiple disciplines with competing priorities and interdependencies, coordinating execution across numerous project teams and functional domains
Establish governance structures, clarify deliverables, and ensure consistent adherence to program standards across all workstreams
Facilitate the full project lifecycle (scope, planning, execution, closure) and coach project teams to apply best‑in‑class methodologies
Serve as the central point of coordination for all program communications, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment
Build and maintain relationships with project owners, finance partners, and operational leaders to ensure consistent progress and adoption of program standards
Partner with cross‑functional teams to support change management and risk mitigation activities tied to key initiatives; proactively identify risks, remove roadblocks, and deliver on commitments
Oversee financial integrity across all program initiatives ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to tracking guidelines
Maintain, refine, and optimize program financial tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Excel), including macros, formulas, pivot tables, and lookups
Partner closely with Finance, including controller/assistant controller‑level stakeholders, to validate assumptions, avoid double counting, and ensure correct value attribution
Track budgets, investments, and savings to ensure each initiative meets stated financial goals
Identify variances, financial risks, and improvement opportunities to enhance value realization
Measure program performance using operational and financial KPIs to identify gaps and areas for improvement
Prepare clear, compelling updates and dashboards for key stakeholders and executive leadership
Create presentations and formal reports that synthesize complex financial and operational data into actionable insights
Maintain program documentation, reporting structures, and tracking mechanisms to ensure visibility and alignment across the enterprise
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance
5 or more years of program or project management experience in a complex, matrixed organization
MBA or advanced degree
PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or other formally recognized process‑improvement certification
Experience working in an analytical role within a financial organization; strong financial acumen with demonstrated partnership at the controller/assistant controller level
Proven ability to manage large integrated projects across multiple disciplines with strict adherence to scope, budget, and schedule
Deep experience with Smartsheet, including implementation across varied use cases (financial, technical, construction, commercial, etc.)
Strong Microsoft Excel expertise including advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and macros
Advanced skills with program and project management tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management
Exceptional time‑management, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels

Applicants will follow a hybrid schedule that includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
