Job Summary: You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER H-60 FST Lead in the Fleet Support Group of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Major Duties:

  • You will manage all initiatives and actions to ensure the quality of available personnel resources providing a full range of required products/services to address fleet requirements.
  • You will oversee development or evaluation of programmatic, engineering, and logistics documents, repairs and redesigns of the platforms systems and components.
  • You will direct work that has significant impact on national defense as well as on aircraft/commodity and systems maintenance/acquisition to support the Fleet.
  • You will serve as a principal advisor to and is supervised by the FST Site Lead, and acts in direct support of the associated PMA for their assigned aircraft platform or commodity.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Mastery experience in leadership, management and oversight of complex projects and activities, including the technical, performance, and schedule considerations associated with those projects and activities; 2) Serving as a liaison and representative in negotiations with other commands and offices of the United States Navy, Air Force, DoD, other governmental agencies and private organizations on matters pertaining to assigned programs; 3) Mastery of generating and coordinating appropriate programmatic documentation and relevant information to support program reviews to include reviews such as readiness or depot level production; 4) Concerning aircraft maintenance issues and history of recommendations provided being acted upon; 5) Assuring that all planning is fully integrated with and aligned to the overarching NAE goals and initiatives as well as those of other participating services and agencies; 6) Advising higher level Headquarters, PEO and PMA officials of production program status, potential risk areas, and of problems that require resolution.
