Job Description

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Shape and evolve the Novartis xVault Center of Excellence vision, strategy, and operating model.

  • Establish the Center of Excellence charter, service catalog, and operating rhythms across teams.

  • Build knowledge management foundations, reusable assets, and onboarding playbooks.

  • Lead cross-Vault governance to ensure platform-wide consistency and guardrails adherence.

  • Harmonize policies across Vaults; enable interoperability and retire legacy duplication.

  • Set decision criteria and responsibilities; maintain transparent decision logs and escalation paths.

  • Drive integrated planning; build multilevel roadmaps and dependency maps across functions.

  • Coordinate release trains and cutovers across Vaults to minimize disruption and ensure readiness.

  • Implement capacity planning and scenario analysis; balance demand and supply effectively.

  • Monitor delivery health; surface risks, trends, and corrective actions across programs.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in informatics, computer science, business, or a related discipline.

  • Extensive experience leading enterprise change initiatives in large, cross-functional environments.

  • Deep expertise in information technology program and portfolio management practices.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions without formal authority.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership with collaborative, inclusive team practices.

  • Advanced planning and resource management skills; delivering scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

  • Experience with compliance, traceability, and risk management in regulated or audited settings.

  • Fluent in English; exceptional communication and relationship-building across business and technology.
