Program Manager - Data Center Solutions

Join nVent Management Company as a Program Manager where you will support planning, execution, and coordination of high-reaching programs and large cross-functional projects. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Project Coordination & Support

  • Build and maintain program/project timelines, achievements, and deliverables.
  • Track status updates and consolidate progress reports.
  • Identify and maintain program dashboards and risk/blocking issue logs.
  • Ensure adherence to product development processes across all functional groups.
  • Track and supervise the engineering change control process.

Collaborator Communication

  • Participate in team meetings, record decisions, action items, and distribute meeting notes.
  • Draft communications such as meeting summaries, program updates, and documentation.
  • Advance risks/issues to the functional leaders and Sr. Program Managers when thresholds are met.
  • Track prioritization to ensure programs are appropriately staffed.

Financial Support

  • Support the process for developing and maintaining customer quotations for custom products.
  • Assist with maintaining expense and financial spreadsheets.
  • Track and supervise costing and margin changes related to the bill of materials.

Execution Support

  • Coordinate tasks and facilitate meetings between cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure deliverables are submitted on time to support program achievements.
  • Follow up with contributors on open items and track to closure.

YOU HAVE:

  • Ideally 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally 2+ years in project/program management preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • General knowledge of material flow, planning, scheduling, supply management/purchasing, inventory, costing, shipping/receiving, NAFTA, export, and ISO quality procedures.
  • Strong customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects, with outstanding organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of project management frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present views clearly.
  • Foundational analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with tools like Excel, MS Project, Power BI, Planner, Jira, or similar.
  • Knowledge of plant operations, suppliers, engineering, and personnel responsibilities.
  • Skill in conflict resolution and effective solution implementation.
  • Ability to adapt to and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to work out of our Anoka, MN office at least 4 days a week, with 1 day from a home office optional.

Pay Transparency
 
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
 
Compensation Range:

$89,300.00 - $165,800.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
