Job Description

The Director for CMB Strategy Execution and Program Management is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the successful execution of Globe’s mobile business strategy. This role ensures that strategic initiatives are effectively implemented, tightly aligned with the broader organizational objectives, and executed with discipline, speed, and precision. The role also serves as a strategic gatekeeper—challenging, validating, and harmonizing recommendations across brands and business units to ensure coherence, differentiation, and business logic.
The ideal candidate combines strong program management discipline with sharp strategic acumen, able to oversee complex multi-stakeholder initiatives while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-paced, highly competitive telco environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Execution Oversight

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end execution of key strategic initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in full alignment with the strategic vision.
     

  • Provide a group-level view of execution progress, proactively identifying gaps, delays, or deviations from intent—and ensuring timely corrective action.
     

  • Serve as a strategic sounding board and challenger to brand heads and business unit leaders, ensuring that all proposed initiatives make strategic and operational sense.
     

  • Protect and differentiate brand/business propositions by ensuring alignment across initiatives and preventing overlap or internal cannibalization.
     

  • Facilitate strategic alignment conversations across the Mobile group and relevant external partners.
     

Program Management Leadership

  • Establish and maintain a program governance framework for strategy delivery, including performance tracking, reporting mechanisms, escalation paths, and issue resolution processes.
     

  • Monitor milestone achievement and flag execution risks, delays, or resource constraints early.
     

  • Anticipate and remove roadblocks by coordinating across teams, managing interdependencies, and driving swift action.
     

  • Provide regular status updates and strategic insights to the Mobile Leadership Team and senior executives, including root-cause analyses and actionable solutions.

  • Ensure continuous alignment of business priorities and mobilization of cross-functional resources toward strategic programs.
