Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

Program Management is the intersection of skills needed to successfully navigate business programs, product development, and project management. The Consumer Program Management team works with Consumer Business leadership to manage and optimize our portfolio of products, performing product strategy planning, go-to-market planning, and project management. Individuals will analyze current processes, identify opportunities, and drive products and partners towards the ideal client experience while managing profitability and alignment to enterprise goals.

Responsibilities:

The Program Management Analyst will gain incremental knowledge and learn new skills that will support their career development within a Consumer Business Program environment. Program Management Analysts will demonstrate conceptual mastery of each of the three key functions, support the strategic and operational requirements of the Consumer Program Management team, and work with a variety of cross-functional teams across the bank.

BUSINESS & MARKET ANALYSIS (1/3)

This function combines work in data analysis of key KPIs, internal and external research, and presentation skills to deliver quality information in easily understood formats.

Key functions:

  • Understand resources (data sources, external sources, internal SMEs from partner business units).
  • Perform market research to identify ways of maximizing penetration of current products and services.
  • Compile data related to competitor product offerings such as pricing, acquisition strategies, platform features, and marketing or distribution methodologies.
  • Forecast and track industry trends based on collected data to support informed decisions on future roadmap.
  • Identify potential new products or markets.
  • Summarize and analyze data, making recommendations related to key findings.
  • Present findings to leaders and stakeholders, complete with graphs, illustrations and written text explaining findings.
  • Desired Skills/Requirements:
  • Superior analytical and research skills.
  • Curiosity and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts and methodologies into easily understood language.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to create models, pivot tables, and write formulas, to synthesize and present data in a clear and simple way.
  • Knowledge of database management, SQL experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, designing slides to clearly present data and recommendations.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT (2/3)

  • This function is a tactical role supporting the Program Manager with enterprise-wide initiatives as needed and acts as one of the primary interfaces between business, project, technical, and development teams.Key functions:
  • Support defining and documenting all project requirements, tasks, resource assignments and an accurate estimation for task completion.
  • Monitor task assignments and coordinate on-time completion of all deliverables from start to completion of project.
  • Generate meeting minutes which accurately capture key decisions, open issues, and action items.
  • Follow up on status of task and action item execution both within and outside of meetings and update project documentation (project timeline, meeting minutes) accordingly.
  • Leverage enterprise systems to manage, distribute, and maintain project/program artifacts, meeting minutes, follow up notes, and participant updates.

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT (3/3)

This function is responsible for driving large, multi-faceted projects and integration activities, ensuring clear business strategies across the product portfolio, and coordination of cross-portfolio projects and culture development within the team. This is a strategic role supporting business wide initiatives and acts as the primary interface with business, project, technical, and development teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a center of influence to manage and partner across cross-functional teams to drive execution of large, complex, multifaceted initiatives.
  • Translate theoretical frameworks into action and lead by example.
  • Coordinate activities between multiple projects consisting of the program, and provide detailed attention to program strategy, project delegation, and program implementation.
  • Support prioritization of future initiatives based on strategic vision, feasibility, market dynamics, client need, and fiscal impact.
  • Regularly interact with senior leadership across the organization to socialize program strategy, roadmaps, and plans.
  • Obtain client and stakeholder feedback on initiatives and overall product-set.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of firm wide best practices and execution protocols.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience within project management.
  • Bachelors in Business Administration, finance, accounting, economics, or similar.
  • Ambition to grow, take initiative, and assume new responsibilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing requirements and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Advanced execution, organizational, and communication skills to keep management informed of summary program status with a knack for summarizing detailed information clearly and concisely.
  • Quickly identify and solve emerging problems; knows when to escalate issues to move concerns forward and when faced with ambiguity, step into the void to find solutions.
  • Comfort operating in often changing and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong collaboration mindset with ability to deliver best in class client experiences.
  • Ability to connect the dots between good practices and great results.
  • Leverage data resources to track KPIs and metrics against program delivery and return on investment.
