Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Program Integration Office Senior Manager - (Level L) to join the KC-46 Tanker Program Management team in Everett, WA!

We are seeking an experienced Program Integration Office (PIO) Program Manager to support the KC‑46 program. This position will lead a small, empowered team and own the initial set of program integration responsibilities, acting as the central integrator and decision facilitator to assure alignment across functions, mitigate risk, and drive measurable progress. As program needs change, the role will adapt its scope while maintaining accountability for delivering outcomes that enable program success.

Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team to enable program success.
  • Serve as the primary PIO point of contact for assigned integration activities; drive cross‑functional alignment and ensure execution of program priorities.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate program reviews, boards, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Own site strategy: site and personnel plans, site engagement activities, and onboarding processes to accelerate workforce integration and readiness.
  • Maintain baseline and change management support to preserve program alignment, configuration control, and traceability across artifacts and plans.
  • Own Stability Lever Updates: collect inputs, coordinate across disciplines, drive decisions, and ensure updates are reflected in program plans and reporting.
  • Own end‑to‑end Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO) management for the program area, including but not limited to:
    • Conducting and running RIO review boards and tracking outcomes.
    • Leading financial risk identification, quantification, mitigation planning, and escalation; developing recovery and contingency plans.
    • Representing the program in USAF Joint RIO meetings and other cross‑organizational forums; coordinating multi‑stakeholder RIO actions and reporting.
  • Use program data and cross‑functional insight to inform strategic discussions, support financial decisions, and contribute to program operational objectives.
  • Maintain program documentation, meeting minutes, decision logs, and status reporting; identify and implement process improvements.
  • Adapt responsibilities as program priorities shift and support additional PIO activities as assigned.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Experience in a role that required strong written and verbal skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management Best Practices (i.e., Requirements Management, Resource Management, Integrated Planning and Scheduling, Financial Oversight, Earned Value Management (EVM), Program Performance Management, Supplier Integration, RIO (Risk, Issue, Opportunity) Management, Program Communication, Senior Leadership Reviews, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Currently possess a Program Management Professional certification - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification OR Program Management Institute (PMI) certification
  • Experience working with KC-46 or a comparable commercial derivative aircraft platform

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for $156,400 - $211,600
