This program director will be responsible for assisting platform re-design program for the Clothes Care ME. This leader must provide program guidance (including design, product architecture, sourcing, quality, fulfillment, etc.) to a large team, influence senior leaders cross-functionally, and support an E2E collaborative business approach. You will be accountable to the execution of the key program deliverables (Program Schedule, Program Cost, and Product Cost) in a modern manufacturing environment. on a new product architecture, drive innovation, leading features and total cost out of a new platform using Design for Manufacturing principles. This includes alignment with the winning definition, and the program vision of Leading Product in an industry leading manufacturing facility.

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Provide program execution, embracing and driving team ownership of program vision and expectations.
  • Facilitate cross functional decision making and lead the cross-functional NPI team to achieve program deliverables from Winning Definition, to customer availability.
  • Own Product Cost and Bill of Material tracking through the lifecycle of the product
  • Support cross functional needs associated with delivering a new product architecture in a new manufacturing facility (part readiness, equipment & building readiness, master transition planning)
  • Set clear expectations: roles, responsibilities, actions, deliverables, and other measures of progress.  
  • Work proactively with the Factory Master Plan (FMP) team, Product Architecture team, Brand team, IDO, product managers, design team, sourcing, operations, quality, and service team to drive the success of this complex design and manufacturing program. 
  • Bring new, innovative approaches to cost out and product execution via strong collaboration with sourcing and suppliers utilizing the “Should Cost” methodology.
  • Prioritize program activity and resources to ensure on-time implementation and benefit yield; leverage financial metrics to manage risk to schedule, budget or program costs.
  • Identify program risks and anticipate potential issues.  Work proactively with cross-functional teams to develop contingency plans and options with a sense of urgency bringing stakeholders together quickly to drive issue resolution as needed.
  • Identify, elevate and/or mitigate program risk items which could impact program delivery to product performance, cost and quality, program cost, factory readiness, regulatory or commercial requirements.  Avert the commercial risks associated with not executing to the goals (share, margin loss and brand reputation).
  • Effectively and proactively communicate program vision, strategy and progress across all constituent communities, including Business Leadership.
  • Manage overall program budget, including the NPI spend, capacity and Factory Master Plan spend, manage Oracle / Checkbook / Monthly estimates.
  • Compile and analyze data and prepare and present reports & program information for leadership review.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years Leadership experience in program management, technology, operations, or other relevant experience
  • Previous Program Management experience or equivalent NPI program experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high performing, cross-functional, diverse teams
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize conflicting demands in fast paced environment with composure
  • Effective communication with C-suite leaders. High credibility
  • Demonstrated capability throughout complete NPI cycle in the following areas: Program budgeting and financial management, schedule management, program risk management, manufacturing processes, technical development, commercial execution in NPI, quality systems and requirements, fulfilment and distribution processes, and customer experience
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technical degree from accredited university or college
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and direct a global development team
  • Must be willing and able to travel as required
