Program Development Associate, Office of the Dean| McDonough School of Business - Georgetown University
The Program Development Associate plays a vital part in shaping new academic offerings and serving as a key contributor to the growth and long-term sustainability of the McDonough School of Business. Specifically, the Program Development Associate, operating out of the Office of the Dean, will support the planning, development, and implementation of academic and co-curricular programming for the Georgetown Miami initiative, a strategic expansion of Georgetown University into the greater Miami region. The individual in this role will focus on developmental workstreams that will prepare Georgetown for the launch and growth of undergraduate and graduate offerings in Miami, including early graduate programming (e.g., MA-IBP) and future undergraduate residencies.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategy and Development, the Program Development Associate will take a leading role in managing the development of the Georgetown Miami initiative, which will require regular interaction with:
MSB, SFS, Georgetown College faculty for academic and co-curricular program design
Main Campus University administrators (Registrar, Student Affairs, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, UIS, Campus Ministry, Student Health Services, Global Services, General Counsel, and Provost’s Office)
Local Miami-based partners, facilities providers, and community organizations
Alumni, donors, and regional stakeholders
External regulatory agencies, including Florida’s CIE and MSCHE
This role will collaborate closely with representatives of the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown College of Arts & Sciences, the Walsh School of Foreign Service, and university-wide administrative partners. The individual in this role will provide essential support in program design, facilities planning, student life programming, compliance with Florida’s Commission for Independent Education (CIE) and Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), and alumni and stakeholder engagement. Ultimately, the role will contribute substantively to the early phases of program development and community building in Miami that are necessary for a successful launch of Georgetown’s presence and future expansion.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
2-3 years of experience in higher education program development, student services, academic administration, or building partnerships with external organizations.
Strong project management skills and the ability to drive action and manage multiple concurrent initiatives on fixed timelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and proactively solve problems
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$54,616.00 - $100,493.33Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
