About the role

Our Electrification & Innovation (E&I) team is driving Australia’s clean energy future by developing sustainable, scalable products that support the nation’s transition to net zero. As the Program Delivery Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing this mission to life.

You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of key products and propositions at a portfolio level, ensuring work flows efficiently, predictably, and in line with our strategic goals. A key part of your role is optimising delivery performance—prioritising initiatives for maximum value, removing blockers, and ensuring all work is accurately assessed, governed, and reported.

Working across multiple squads, you’ll partner closely with Product Leads, Heads of Value Streams, Technology, and cross-functional teams to drive delivery excellence and embed continuous improvement.

You will also shape and uplift the organisation’s delivery capability, leading and developing Business Analysts, Delivery Leads, and other practitioners to build a culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive the delivery rhythm, prioritisation, and sequencing of work to ensure products and propositions land predictably and deliver strategic value. Act as a key escalation point for trade-off decisions between initiatives, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

  • Embed AGL’s system of work, agile practices, and governance standards to drive high-quality outcomes. Use delivery insights and performance data to identify systemic blockers, uplift predictability, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the value streams.

  • Lead, coach, and develop Business Analysts, Delivery Leads, and delivery practitioners. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and psychological safety while evolving frameworks, standards, and best practices that scale across teams.

  • Ensure clear visibility of delivery progress, dependencies, and risks at a portfolio level. Monitor key metrics, provide data-driven insights, and present recommendations that support effective decision-making and maximise value.

  • Partner closely with Product Leads, Value Stream leaders, Technology, and external delivery partners to ensure strategic alignment, manage dependencies, and maintain consistent delivery quality across the portfolio.

About you:

  • Previous demonstrated experience leading delivery across multiple initiatives across value streams, accountable for end-to-end outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop delivery professionals.

  • Deep understanding of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, HCD).

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with proven success aligning multiple teams toward shared outcomes.

  • Experience managing risks, dependencies and impediments across complex or cross-functional programs of work.
