The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.
The Program Coordinator II supports engineering education, ABET accreditation, and student success initiatives, including oversight of the Engineering Student Success Center. This position coordinates assessment, continuous improvement, and data-informed program operations to ensure academic quality, accreditation compliance, and improved student retention and persistence.
Responsibilities:
Support ABET accreditation and continuous improvement processes, including data collection, documentation, assessment cycles, and reporting.
Coordinate engineering education initiatives focused on curriculum quality and student learning outcomes.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Engineering Student Success Center, including scheduling, program coordination, and data tracking.
Support student success and retention initiatives through data monitoring, reporting, and coordination with faculty and student support units.
Maintain accreditation, assessment, and student success documentation in accordance with college and university standards.
Coordinate meetings, communications, timelines, and deliverables related to accreditation and student success efforts.
Assist with the preparation of reports and materials for internal reviews, accreditation, and leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, STEM-related field, or closely related discipline.
Four years of professional experience supporting academic programs, student success initiatives, accreditation, assessment, or related higher education functions.
Requires Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
Familiarity with ABET accreditation standards and outcomes-based assessment.
Experience supporting engineering or STEM student success programs.
Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, administrators, and students.
Proficiency with standard office productivity and data tools.
