Work Schedule: Primarily standard business hours with occasional evenings/weekends for outreach or events
Location: Hybrid; in-person work typically averages 2–3 days per week, with additional on-site meetings or events as needed
· Provide administrative and operational support to the consulting team across multiple projects.
· Support the coordination and administration of TDM programs for TMAs, employers, municipalities, and other clients.
· Coordinate and support commuter programs at client sites focused on reducing drive-alone travel and promoting alternatives such as transit, carpooling, shuttles, biking, and walking.
· Assist with the development and rollout of new TDM initiatives tailored to client needs.
· Track project timelines, work plans, and deliverables.
· Draft and distribute newsletters, announcements, and targeted communications.
· Support website updates, social media content, email campaigns.
· Assist with the creation of promotional materials such as digital graphics, flyers, presentations, and web content.
· Plan and support outreach events, workshops, and promotional activities.
· Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual events, including materials and follow-up communications.
· Assist the consulting team in supporting shuttle services planned and managed by TransAction Associates and operated in coordination with TransAction’s Corporate Shuttle Division.
· Provide customer support related to shuttle programs, including responding to rider inquiries and assisting with service communications.
· Coordinate with internal teams to help roll out and promote new shuttle services.
· Support proposal development, grant applications, and new project pursuits.
· Assist with research, drafting, and coordination related to new business opportunities.
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, planning, business, public policy, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
· 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, project support, marketing, or a related role.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across projects.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information clearly and effectively.
· Customer-service oriented, with the ability to work productively with a wide range of stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a team in a consulting environment.
· Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify needs, research options, and propose solutions.
· Strong research and learning skills, including the ability to quickly understand new topics and apply information in a practical, client-focused way.
· Strategic and creative thinker with an interest in improving programs, communications, and internal processes over time.
· Experience with transportation demand management, transportation planning, sustainability, or related fields.
· Experience using graphic design tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite), Squarespace or similar platforms, survey development tools, and basic GIS or mapping tools.
· Experience supporting transit or shuttle programs.
· Ability to lift and transport materials or equipment (up to approximately 25 lbs.) for events.
· Ability to travel locally to meetings, client sites, and events.
· Ability to spend time outdoors at events for extended periods when needed.
