Job Summary: You will serve as a Program Analyst for the US Small Business Administration (SBA), Disaster Policy, Planning, Partnership, and Public Affairs Division. This position reports to the Deputy Director, Disaster Policy, Planning, Partnerships, and Public Affairs Division and is responsible for providing input on a variety of analytical issues including long-range planning, procedural and policy development, and policy implementation.

In addition, this Specialized Experience must demonstrate the following: Interpretation of laws, regulations or policies and providing guidance on how these impact organizational programs; and Developing or recommending policies, goals, operating procedures, or performance measures for disaster assistance programs; and Conducting research and analyzing trends to propose alternative strategies or solutions to improve program effectiveness; and Coordinating with Federal, State, local, tribal, or congressional stakeholders in support of disaster response or recovery efforts; and Evaluating disaster program effectiveness and recommending improvements to increase mission performance.
