Program Analyst II

What this Job Entails: 

The Program Analyst II is responsible for ensuring the timely and correct delivery of machines to data centers across the world. The Program Analyst will play an integral role in ensuring that services continue to run and scale along with our customers’ needs. Along with significant execution responsibilities, the Program Analyst will also participate in process sustainability and improvement initiatives, thus playing a key role in program evolution. The Analyst will need to operate on multiple levels in order to be successful; an understanding of weekly schedules and cadences will drive the execution work, but a willingness to absorb context and appreciate the nuances of builds will ensure that the organization's fleet is optimized. 

Scope: 

  • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues

  • Works on problems of moderate scope

  • Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Engage in enforcing program process and policies during execution of program analysis services

  • Load program data into Machine Database (“MDB”) and execute changes to orders 

  • Assist in identifying accurate top-level-assembly (“TLA”) part numbers to build orders 

  • Support data management and analysis for any ad-hoc projects as requested 

  • Monitor and track status of builds, identify exceptions, respond to customer inquiries and escalations 

  • Validate orders and load into supply chain execution system, including filing requests for new part numbers for final rack and server assemblies 

  • Triage and communicate to appropriate leader any orders tracking late or customer delivery escalations 

  • Responds to customer inquiries for order status 

  • Triage and communicate to Builds Program Lead of documentation of process gaps and inefficiencies in policies or data flow related to loading builds

  • Assists with orders validated and loaded into the supply chain execution system, including filed requests for new part numbers for final rack and server assemblies. 

  • Help to maintain detailed tracking of all orders to monitor progress against projected delivery schedules 

  • Assist with triage and email communication to appropriate lead of any order tracking 

  • Respond to customer inquiries for order status 

  • Triage and communicate customer delivery escalations to program lead customer delivery 

  • Assist with documentation of process gaps and inefficiencies in policies or data flow related to loading builds 

  • Help to create reports of weekly on results from: program analysis, services provided, including number of builds successfully loaded, number of builds blocked and issues encountered and/or resolved

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • Builds productive internal and external working relationships

  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action

  • Very strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to self-audit 

  • Capacity to execute across multiple platforms and tools 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work closely to a schedule and report on risks 

  • Microsoft Excel and/or Google spreadsheets experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of server and machine builds 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills. 

  • Proven project management, interpersonal and communication skills, with high attention to detail 

  • Passion for functioning in an ambiguous and evolving environment. 

  • Familiarity with operations execution 

  • Understanding of project management 

Physical Demand & Work Environment:

  • Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing

  • Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment

  • Must be able to use a computer

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively
