Major Duties:

• You will serve as a Program Analyst, supporting and advising the Principal Assistant Program Manager.
• You will work with a programmatic and technical team of civilians, military and contractors in the prototyping, design, integration, production, and test of submarine-integrated specialized mission systems.
• You will use a high-level of judgment to a wide variety of interrelated subject matter, that include financial, contractual, programmatic, or other areas, requiring the ability to correlate and corroborate information into reports/records.
• You will analyze and evaluate program requirements and resources and perform program reviews to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness across programming, budgeting, and procurement activities.
• You will also provide recommendations, courses of action, or corrective actions to support improvements.
• You will develop and deliver a wide range of substantive oral and written presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders, and communicate results and recommendations based on your analyses.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: technical experience and acumen in broad aspects of submarine design and integration; experience applying analytical and program management principles to support complex projects; and the ability to communicate program status, analyses, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders through written products and briefings. 0343 Classification Standards: www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/classifying-general-schedule-positions/standards/0300/gs0343.pdf Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
