Major Duties:

  • You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the IDENTITY MANAGEMENT DIVISION, JOINT MISSION OPERATIONS CENTER of U.S. FLEET CYBER COMMAND.
  • You will lead the Identity Data Management (IDM) Due Diligence Program functions, including conducting comprehensive open-source and intelligence research and analysis and testing of IDM or cyberspace resources.
  • You will identify, document, and justify requirements for Due Diligence analysis and other resources.
  • You will advise the IDM Program Director and fellow IDM staff of risks associated with cyberspace operation (CO) tools or capabilities to include integration into infrastructures and systems.
  • You will participate with CO teams, planner and intelligence analysis support personnel, and provide intelligence input into planning efforts related to CO tools and capabilities.
  • You will conduct response actions to IDM-related incidents, thoroughly investigates to identify root causes and risks to IDM equities, drafts and submits follow up reports with courses of actions to prevent recurrence.
  • You will provide government oversight and direction to assigned contract personnel, related to Due Diligence support actions.
  • You will conduct physical and virtual resource acquisition for both Due Diligence support actions and operational requirements.

Qualifications: Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience drafting and revising cyber operation plans in support of command programs. -Experience utilizing multiple intelligence systems, databases and reports to analyze cyber assessments and overall risks. -Experience creating courses of actions to resolve deficiencies, risks, and vulnerabilities. -Experience briefing senior leaders on security threats and recommend adjustments to operational plans based on analysis. This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level SENIOR, Series and Grade GG-0340-13. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
