Job Summary: You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the SYSTEMS ACQUISITION GROUP, PROGRAM MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, AIR WARFARE AND SPECIAL MISSION SYSTEMS DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for implementing the functions of Configuration Management (Planning, Identification, Change Management, Status Accounting, and Audits) throughout the entire acquisition process.
  • You will develop Configuration Management requirements for Statements of Work.
  • You will participate in Systems Engineering Technical Review events.
  • You will coordinate Functional Configuration Audits to formalize the functional baseline.
  • You will conduct Physical Configuration Audits to formalize the product baseline.
  • You will act as the focal for Aircraft Acceptance Process and closely coordinates with the Contractor, Defense Contract Management Agency, and PMA-207 leadership in order to facilitate the timely delivery of production aircraft.
  • You will coordinate the review and disposition of major and minor Variances.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DA-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing leadership, technical and programmatic support to ensure program execution aligns with Department of the Navy objectives within approved cost, schedule, and performance baselines; 2) Developing, reviewing, and approving Configuration Management (CM) plans in accordance with DON and SECNAV directives; 3) Leading Change Control Boards (CCBs) to maintain configuration integrity across all program phases; 4) Coordinating the review and disposition of audit plans and actively participating in audits and working groups to ensure execution aligns with Navy governance, technical rigor, and compliance with established policies, procedures, and contractual requirements; 5) Managing the review and disposition of configuration changes, coordinating with Fleet, program, and contractor stakeholders to assess technical, cost, and schedule impacts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and traceability of all contract modifications; and 6) Developing, updating, and maintaining program databases and associated documentation to ensure authoritative configuration status accounting and sustaining program data integrity in accordance with Department of the Navy records management policies.
