Salary Range: $62640 - $81436 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the EXECUTIVE SUPPORT OFFICE CODE 1100 of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Major Duties:

  • You will be expected to deal effectively with personnel and officials at all levels, fostering positive and productive working relationships.
  • You will plan, organize, and control the work of large organizational components, applying exemplary time management skills to meet strategic deadlines.
  • You will utilize data analysis, performance metrics, and operational data to drive decision-making, leveraging your skills in IT/Business infrastructure and MS Dynamics.
  • You will resolve complex problems and issues between internal departments and a wide variety of external officials, including Federal, State, and Local representatives, on matters of mutual interest.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying technical writing techniques to create clear and concise documentation, including reports, process manuals, and official correspondence. Experience utilizing automated data systems and standard office software to effectively collect, manage, and analyze program information. Experience conducting comprehensive studies and developing new or modified work methods, management processes, and administrative procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Experience performing quantitative analysis using statistical, accounting, budgetary, and economic principles to evaluate program performance. Experience applying fact-finding, analytical, and problem-solving methods to identify complex program challenges and their root causes. Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to draw sound conclusions and recommend appropriate solutions that improve overall program efficiency and effectiveness.
