Role Purpose 

The Program Activation Coordinator provides operational, logistical, and digital support for enterprise talent and performance programs. Reporting to the VP of Talent & Performance, this role acts as the central integrator and supports Program Activation Specialists, while owning the sequencing of programs to ensure the organization is not overloaded. This role maintains the master calendar, flags conflicts, and recommends shifts or drops to protect enterprise capacity. This role ensures resources, communications, and digital content are accurate and delivered with speed and consistency across enterprise. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Coordinate and sequence enterprise talent and performance programs by maintaining the master calendar, managing logistics, aligning timelines across Specialists, and recommending shifts to protect organizational capacity. 

  • Maintain and enhance digital content and tools, including updating intranet materials, organizing shared assets, troubleshooting routine issues, and supporting daytoday use of digital platforms to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and strong user experience. 

  • Support communications, data, and insights by preparing and formatting program materials, collecting participation and usage metrics, documenting feedback trends, and contributing to reporting that informs program improvements and activation decisions. 

  • Enable continuous improvement and researchtopractice learning by documenting retros, tracking enhancements, maintaining structured records and libraries, and conducting light benchmarking scans to ensure alignment with COE standards and evolving frameworks. 

 

Key Partnerships 

  • Reports to: VP, Talent & Performance 

  • Program Activation Specialists: Coordinate logistics, content updates, and operational support across multiple workstreams. 

  • Talent & Performance COE: Align on program updates, resource distribution, and consistent delivery across enterprise initiatives. 

  • HRBPs: Provide timely program information and direct leader/employee inquiries for support. 

  • Internal Communications: Support review and coordination of communication content. 

  • People Analytics & Insights (E3): Access dashboards and support basic reporting needs to inform program metrics and insights. 

  • Digital Enablement (E3 & MT): Escalate technical issues and coordinate system updates or enhancements. 

  • Employee Care: Provide accurate and timely responses to general program inquiries. 

 

 

Ideal Candidate Profile 

  • Organized, detaildriven coordinator with experience supporting HR programs and digital content, managing multiple requests, maintaining accuracy, and producing polished, professional materials in a fastpaced environment. 

  • Digitally fluent, curious, and improvementoriented, comfortable with SharePoint, Viva, Copilot, Microsoft 365, and eager to learn and apply AI and automationdriven tools while spotting patterns and helping refine templates, content, and user journeys. 

  • Agile, collaborative team partner who works effectively across multiple workstreams, adapts quickly to shifting needs, and takes a proactive, solutionoriented approach to simplifying processes and enhancing clarity and user experience. 

 

Basic Requirements 

  • 2–4+ years of experience in HR operations, program coordination, project coordination, or digital content management within a corporate environment. 

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and workflow/task management tools. 

  • Comfort with digital content updates, version control, and maintaining templates, intranet pages, or shared resource libraries. 

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, able to manage multiple incoming requests, track timelines, and escalate risks or conflicts proactively. 

  • Clear, concise communication skills, with experience drafting or formatting materials such as emails, leader resources, and program support. 

  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in calendars, content, communications, and reporting. 

 

Preferred Requirements 

  • Experience with digital experience platforms, such as Viva, SharePoint frameworks, intranet administration, or content governance models. 

  • Familiarity with AI enabled tools (e.g., Copilot, workflow automation, content generation assistants) and an eagerness to learn emerging technologies. 

  • Exposure to data collection and light analysis, including engagement metrics, usage data, or basic dashboard interpretation. 

  • Experience supporting program sequencing or capacity planning processes, including identifying cross program overlaps or risks. 

  • Comfort with UX oriented thinking, such as organizing content for ease of navigation, improving the user experience, or simplifying complex instructions. 

  • Basic project management familiarity, whether through Asana, Smartsheet, or similar tools. 

  • Understanding of change enablement practices, including preparing communication drafts, timing plans, or readiness supports.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $74,100 - $123,500
