The PSV Bovine EMEA consults with diagnostic bovine laboratories, cattle producers, general bovine veterinary practices, specialty practices, and academic veterinarians on medical protocols to promote growth and utilization of IDEXX ruminant products, services, and medical testing; and to promote customer satisfaction and loyalty. The PSV Bovine EMEA represents IDEXX to the bovine industry, the veterinary community and academia. The PSV Bovine EMEA partners with the LPD salesforce and collaborates with internal teams providing medical messaging, medical product training to sales and marketing (results interpretation, sampling, etc.) and managing field trials. The PSV Bovine EMEA produces results and data analysis and interpretation to show the value of the diagnostic tools to producers and veterinarians.
In this role you will:
- Consult with diagnostic bovine laboratory managers, beef and dairy producers, bovine veterinarians on medical protocols to promote growth and utilization of IDEXX products, services and medical testing.
- Represents IDEXX to the dairy and beef industry, the veterinary community and academia which may include hosting seminars and continuing education sessions on company products to key influencers at clinics, universities, veterinary schools, and other venues.
- Partner with the LPD sales force and other IDEXX teams as needed. Collaborate with internal teams providing medical product training to sales and marketing (results interpretation, sampling, etc.) and managing field trials.
- Proactively support the company’s products through assisting, creating and reviewing technical materials and presenting technical subjects to a variety of audiences. May assist and write technical documents and/or provide input and approval oversight on marketing and field selling materials.
- Provide support to IDEXX Training Department, creating written materials, presentations, and conducting training sessions as appropriate.
- Support and consult on ruminant disease programs, help identify customers’ medical needs, and stay up to date on future medical trends.
- Assure compliance with all lDEXX SOP’s and procedures relative to product complaints, adverse drug event reporting and client records.
- Handle customer (veterinary and end-user) questions providing technical advice and following through on product complaints.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of dairy and beef production systems and health programs.
What you need to succeed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required.
- Solid knowledge of current topics and relevant issues regarding the dairy and beef industry (bovine, including Alertys).
- Strong business acumen, including specific knowledge of ruminant products and services sold.
- Seasoned business and medical professional.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively and appropriately influence others.
- Strong facilitator, able to resolve conflict through mutual understanding and respect.
- Excellent customer service and business relationship-building skills required.
- Professional maturity, adaptability and responsiveness to employee, customer and peer needs or concerns.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the willingness and ability to work collaboratively with others in a matrix environment.

- Fluent in English and ideally one additional European language.
Work environment:
- Office or remote/home office environment.
- Visits to customers and academia (diagnostic laboratories, vet clinics, farms).
- Visit tradeshows, scientific meetings, customer workshops
- Visits to Veterinary Clinics.
- Extensive travel up to 75% mainly in Europe
- Extended hours may be required
