The Professional Services division is responsible for delivery of change / transformation / advisory services to existing clients on Clearwater’s SaaS platform. We work in conjunction with Client Services to identify opportunities around value-added services to steady state clients and implement change projects for our clients.
As the Professional Services Team Lead at CWAN, you will be responsible for leading a skilled team of professionals who deliver high-quality consulting and implementation services to our clients. You will oversee project execution, ensure client satisfaction, and drive the successful delivery of solutions that align with client needs and CWAN's strategic objectives. Your role will involve managing resources, mentoring team members, and fostering a positive team culture while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will work on a variety of client projects in Investment Accounting, General Ledger and Client Reporting.
The Professional Services Team Lead role requires a combination of technical expertise, people management skills, and strategic thinking. They must identify challenges, evaluate options, and implement solutions while considering both immediate and long-term impacts on the team and organization. They should understand industry-specific tools, processes, and best practices to guide their teams effectively
Responsibilities:
Implements change/transformation/advisory projects for our clients, working in conjunction with Client Services and Clearwater leadership teams.
Hands-on configuration on Clearwater platform modules such as Accounting, Compliance, Risk, and Performance.
Oversees a team of 10+ Professional Services consultants.
Monitors quality assurance and productivity of the team.
Manages resource capacity and project allocation aligned with PS goals.
Shares knowledge of designing and implementing training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Serves as a trusted client advocate and is on the path to becoming a confident client advisor as expertise develops.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of investment accounting solutions and workflow.
5+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or project management.
Acumen for a leadership pathway at CWAN.
Proven experience in managing and overseeing teams.
Certified Bachelors / master's in finance / accounting or related field.
Knowledge of steady state and period-end close processes.
Securities or financial markets experience, involving both vanilla and alternative assets.
Knowledge in at least one specific market/standard/regulatory regime. (e.g. NAIC, US GAAP)
Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
