Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), an international commercial management and investment real estate firm, is looking for an IT Operations Analyst 2 for the Network Circuit Management team. Candidates applying for the position should seriously consider the commitment required of those working for a highly motivated professional services company with high expectations of its core IT infrastructure. The role will be functioning as a direct report to the Manager of Global Connectivity Services, and it will serve as a critical component in the strategic management and comprehensive optimization of JLL's global infrastructure operations.
The role will be liaising with network support teams, JLL management layers, and third-party providers to ensure optimal circuit sizing and cost-effective operations following the defined processes.
The IT Operations Analyst 2 is responsible for managing the data carriers of the client owned circuits for Infrastructure, Data Center, and office connectivity. They will concentrate on project deliverables encompassing new circuit installations, circuit modifications, and technology transitions. This role will ensure that project expectations, milestones, delivery dates and status reports are available to management and project teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Accountable for the procurement, ordering, comprehensive tracking, seamless coordination, and successful implementation of data circuits to enhance JLL's IT network infrastructure and optimize data center operations
· Establishing strategic partnerships with global teams to ensure comprehensive consideration of regional requirements and successful fulfillment of organizational objectives
· Maintain comprehensive and meticulously accurate global circuit inventory management of all network infrastructure circuits
· Conduct systematic audits to identify and evaluate more cost-effective solutions and optimization opportunities
· Provide comprehensive support for the renewal of circuit-related contracts
· Establishes robust practices and procedures to optimize circuit installation process
· Perform monthly invoice analysis, validation, and potential payment approval on data invoices
· Collaborates strategically with client partners to conduct comprehensive circuit audits and billing reconciliation while proactively engaging vendors to expedite resolution of billing discrepancies and contractual issues.
· Creates and maintains all process documentation for the Circuit Management Team
· Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and procedures
· Provides comprehensive mentorship and guidance to team members on advanced training initiatives, circuit program methodologies, client policies, and operational procedures to ensure organizational excellence and professional development.
· Understands and maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and procedures
· Demonstrates expertise in telecommunications and data communications services including data vendor portals
· In-depth knowledge of an understanding of circuit pricing and benchmarking of telecom services
Experience & Education
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
· Experienced in working with Telecom Expense Management systems
· Experience in wireline procurement and dealing with the wireline service providers preferred
· Analytical experience with large data volumes
· Billing investigations
Preferred Competencies:
· Demonstrates proficiency in professional English communication, encompassing both verbal and written correspondence to communicate effectively with customers, peers, direct and senior management
· Must demonstrate the capability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks while adapting to evolving priorities
· Reviewing, understanding, interpreting, and managing carrier contracts
· Proficient experience using Microsoft Office products.
· Effective escalation skills are critical to effectively and manage vendors (both partners and non-partner vendors)
· Ability to leverage automation for efficiency and added customer benefit
· Excellent communicator and presenter who can deliver well-structured concise and accurate documents, reports, and proposals
· Self-motivated professional with entrepreneurial initiative, demonstrating sustained ambition through measurable performance outcomes and tangible results
· Ability to work under pressure and able to deliver projects to tight deadlines
