Job Summary
The Professional Education Manager plays a critical role in ZOLL Itamar's mission to advance the understanding and adoption of sleep diagnostics through education. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing educational programs that equip healthcare professionals with the clinical knowledge and confidence to effectively utilize WatchPAT® technology and other ZOLL Itamar solutions.
The Professional Education Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical Affairs, and Marketing to develop impactful, compliant, and clinically relevant educational initiatives that strengthen customer engagement and drive clinical excellence in sleep medicine.
Essential Functions
Develop and implement professional education strategies: Create and execute comprehensive education programs that promote clinical understanding, proper use, and best practices for WatchPAT and related sleep diagnostic solutions.
KOL Development and Strategic Relationships: Identify and engage influential Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to establish advisory relationships, facilitate physician peer-to-peer education, and advocate for product adoption. Build and maintain partnerships with KOLs, professional societies, and healthcare organizations to enhance the visibility, credibility, and impact of ZOLL Itamar’s professional education initiatives.
Design and deliver content: Develop engaging curricula, presentations, and materials for in-person and virtual training events, webinars, symposia, and workshops. Align content with adult learning principles and company objectives.
Coordinate and manage programs: Plan and manage professional education events including ZOLL Itamar-sponsored workshops, society conferences, and clinical training sessions. Oversee logistics, budgeting, faculty coordination, and post-event evaluations.
Ensure compliance and scientific accuracy: Partner with Legal, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs to ensure all educational activities meet ZOLL and AdvaMed compliance standards and reflect current evidence-based practices in sleep medicine.
Physician Documentation Coordination: Compiling and organizing physician files for Health Care Professional Review Committee meeting.
Development and Oversight of SOWs: Develop and maintain SOWs for Key Opinion Leaders to ensure alignment with project objectives, timelines, and compliance requirements.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, respiratory therapy, sleep medicine, life sciences, or a related healthcare field required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional education, clinical training, or sales training role within the medical device or healthcare industry. Experience in sleep diagnostics or cardiopulmonary medicine is highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Learning Management Systems (LMS), CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and virtual learning tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Articulate).
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate cross-functionally, and influence without authority.
Clinical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of sleep physiology, sleep-disordered breathing, and the role of home sleep testing (HST) in patient care pathways. Ability to translate clinical concepts into accessible, impactful education for healthcare audiences.
Previous experience educating physicians, technologists, or sleep centers on diagnostic or monitoring technologies.
Familiarity with WatchPAT®, CloudPAT, and zzzPAT platforms or similar diagnostic software.
Experience partnering with Medical Affairs or Clinical teams to develop peer-to-peer or CME programs.
Knowledge of AdvaMed Code, Sunshine Act, and other compliance requirements related to professional education.
Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel up to 20–30%, including travel to the Atlanta office for planning sessions and training events (approximately 10 times per year).

The annual salary for this position is:
$130,000.00 to $130,000.00This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
