This role is critical in ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for new partners, acting as the operational lead and primary liaison between Green Dot's internal teams and our BaaS partners during implementation. You will be managing multiple onboarding projects at once— coordinating cross-functional efforts, managing partner expectations, and driving operational readiness to ensure successful program launches.  Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, comfort navigating ambiguity, and a proactive approach to driving alignment across teams.

  • Serve as the operational lead for complex Embedded Finance partner onboarding initiatives, owning end-to-end operational readiness and execution

  • Establish and drive clarity, accountability, and alignment with cross-functional teams (compliance, product, legal, operations, and engineering) to ensure all business and operational requirements are met

  • Build accountability across the organization.

  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and gaps; understand how decisions or changes to requirements will impact downstream work; and drive resolution through collaboration, clear communication, and problem-solving.

  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for partners, building trust and positioning Green Dot as a strategic advisor throughout implementation

  • Build partner confidence by positioning Green Dot as a strategic thought partner helping BaaS programs deliver on their potential and beyond.

  • Develop, refine, and maintain onboarding frameworks, documentation, workflows, and tools that scale with the growth of the Embedded Finance business

  • Champion operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline and scale partner onboarding

  • Mentor and provide informal leadership to peers, contributing to team capability-building and best-practice sharing

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of extensive experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder onboarding projects with minimal direction

  • Ability to work professionally and effectively with external clients and partners

  • Hands-on experience with Embedded Finance platforms and partner ecosystems with a bias to action which is focused on bottom line results

  • Team player that thrives within white space, demonstrated ability to deliver in challenging situations where problem or resolution is ambiguous

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple onboarding projects simultaneously

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills

  • Understanding of compliance requirements in financial services (KYC, AML, etc.) is a plus

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management experience preferred

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; including executive ready communication.
