Your Impact / Role Summary
Production Technician I is an entry-level position, performing basic assembly, test support, and introductory calibration tasks under close supervision. Supports quality, safety, and throughput by following work instructions, maintaining documentation, and escalating issues. No training or leadership responsibilities; focuses on learning core PMS processes and tools.
Specific Job Responsibilities
Perform basic mechanical, electrical, electronic, and/or optical assembly tasks
Assist with routine test procedures and basic calibration tasks under supervision
Support preliminary troubleshooting by identifying symptoms and escalating issues
Use basic electrical test equipment with guidance
Handle PCB assemblies following ESD procedures
Follow written, graphic, and pictorial work instructions
Support standard procedures and process flow
Support prototype or engineering builds
Maintain quality documentation and follow system requirements
Participate in inventory, material handling, and cross-functional teamwork
Assist technicians and engineers in troubleshooting and test setups
Follow all safety, ESD, and operational procedures
Identify and report waste or process issues
Support approved continuous improvement activities
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
0–1 year of experience in manufacturing, electronics, or assembly preferred
Basic understanding of electronics and ability to use hand tools and test equipment
Ability to read and follow written, graphic, and pictorial work instructions
Familiarity with ESD-safe handling practices
Basic mechanical and electrical assembly skills
Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Strong customer-focused mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Coursework in electronics, photonics, mechatronics, or related vocational training
Familiarity with ERP systems
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role operates in an office, laboratory, and/or manufacturing environment.
Ability to sit, stand, or use a computer for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds several times per day.

Compensation & Benefits
Base starting salary: $25 per hour
Our compensation philosophy: we offer competitive pay based on market data, including local, national, and industry benchmarks. For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education.
