1. Zero Deviation Safety & Stop Work Authority
Drives a non-negotiable culture of "Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time" and “No Tolerance to Deviation”.
Owns and enforces the "No Tolerance to Deviation" and Stop Work Authority policies in their daily activities, understand and follow the 3 Core Commitments. Responsible for implementing and enforcing all established company/ site policies and operational procedures without deviation, escalate to Production Supervisor if challenges are discovered at implementing them.
Contribute to proactive monitoring of important production parameters, Stop Work & escalate if deviations or abnormalities are discovered.
Ensuring completion of training & qualification tasks assigned to them, and ensure that they are qualified to the tasks they are asked to perform.
Safely and efficiently operate assigned processes to consistently meet daily quality, production, and productivity goals.
Safety Participation: Actively participate in monthly safety meetings and champion a safe work environment.
Emergency Response: Serve as an active member of the ALAM Emergency Response (ER) Team, qualified as an ER entry team member. This responsibility requires the ability to successfully wear and function in a tight-fitting full-face respirator.
2. Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
Task Prioritization: Collaborate effectively with Production Supervisors to prioritize daily tasks and ensure operational continuity.
Equipment Management: Execute the assembly and disassembly of production equipment for changeovers and process preparation, and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal function and reliability.
Analytical Testing: Expertly operate and troubleshoot analytical equipment necessary for in-process testing and final product validation, ensuring strict adherence to product specifications.
Continuous Improvement: Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Working Instructions, and Learning Resources to maintain accuracy and incorporate best practices.
3. Documentation & System Integrity
SOP and Documentation Maintenance: Responsible for highlighting any key operating documents (SOPs, WIs) that do not represent actual practice on the manufacturing for all production activities.
Review and update key operating documents (SOPs, WIs) assigned to them.
4. Team & Talent Development
Execute and complete annual personal goals aligned with both plant-wide strategic objectives and individual professional development plans.
Training & Qualification: Successfully complete all assigned regulatory, qualification and developmental training requirements.
Specific Knowledge and Know-How
Ability to learn technical chemical processes quickly in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to perform technical troubleshooting to resolve process issues (Preferred).
Understanding of chemical & mechanical processing systems (Preferred).
Familiarity with mechanical equipment, encompassing pumps, piping, manifolds, and valves (Preferred).
Ability to operate forklift and other mobile elevated working platforms (Preffered).
Management and Behavioral Skills
Demonstrated positive attitude and safety-first attitude.
Ability to interact effectively with others to accomplish daily tasks and achieve the plant's goals.
Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in written and verbal formats with stakeholders at multiple levels in the business.
Ability to work in rotating shifts and requires flexibility to accommodate changes in schedules and shifts as operational needs dictate.
