The Production Team Member is a member of the Manufacturing Production Team and will be responsible for contributing to the hands-on production of the Company’s world-class vehicles and/or electric vehicle powertrains. Excellent attendance is crucial for a team to achieve success. He/she must have the ability to work with various teams across departments.  They will also be required to work closely with engineering, quality, and suppliers in various aspects of the overall manufacturing process. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish effective working relationships within Company and outside. 

You Will: 

  • Work as an integral part of the production team to ensure smooth operations and efficient output. 
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. 
  • Perform various tasks including assembly, packaging, and machine operation, as necessary. 
  • Follow standardized operating procedures and ensure adherence to quality control standards. 
  • Adherence to Environmental Health and Safety standards including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by job assignment. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular equipment maintenance and cleaning. 
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of production processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency. 
  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all staff members. 
  • Physical work includes frequent pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, lifting, standing, repetitive motions, etc. 
  • Lifting objects at various load levels. 
  • Use of tooling that requires specialized training. 
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and adapt to new environments. 
  • Comfortable learning innovative technology 
  • Flexibility to support any shift including day, night, and swing shifts, as needed. Weekend and holiday work may be required. 
  • Punctuality and attendance are paramount. 
  • Ability to follow a required sequence of steps in a process repetitively for a long time. 
  • Ability to maintain rate of production while maintaining an elevated level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

You Bring: 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent Required. 
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Must have command of the English language both written & verbal. 
  • All potential employees will be required to pass a comprehensive background check. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. 
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills. 
  • At least two years of experience operating MHE equipment such as sit down forklift, tow motor, order pickers, and pallet jacks strongly preferred. 

 Essential Physical Requirements: 

  •  Standing and Walking:  Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift on hard surfaces in a production environment. 
  •  Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands for handling tools, assembling components, and operating machinery. Requires fine motor skills and grip strength. 
  •  Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing 10–50 lbs. regularly; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs. with assistance. 
  •  Reaching and Bending: Routine reaching above shoulders, bending, and twisting  waist, and squatting as part of process and tasks. 
  •  Repetitive Motions: Continuous arm, hand, and wrist movements for tasks such as fastening, positioning, and installing. 
  •  Climbing: Occasional use of steps to access different height level areas. 
  •  PPE Expectations: Must wear required PPE (safety shoes, gloves, protective sleeves, eye and hearing protection) as per company safety standards.
