Production Team Lead

SUMMARY

 

Provide hands-on training, supervision, and leadership for the assembly, inspection and test of magnetic bearings and related products.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Provide guidance, training and support for production technicians, assign tasks and ensure adherence to procedures and schedules.

  • Monitor daily activities, track output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet goals.

  • Provide production communications and data as required.

  • Direct daily production flow.

  • Ensure materials are stocked, coordinate equipment needs and assist with staffing/scheduling.

  • Responsible for understanding and complying with the safety policy, procedures, and instructions in order to ensure a safe work environment.

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.

  • Responsible for understanding and complying with the quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals, and environmental well-being.

  • Serve as quality liaison.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 

 

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a light industrial setting.

  • Experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing environment.

 

Language

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Skills

  • Leadership and communication.

  • Problem solving and decision making.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Technical / manufacturing knowledge.

  • Time management and organization. 

 

Physical Demands

·         Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time.

·         Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move material per Synchrony lifting standards.

·         Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Must not have issues related to handling metals including aluminum, copper, bronze, and steel.

  • Must be able to come into contact with various epoxies without allergic reaction.

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) $46,000-$63,000 - This role offers a competitive bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance.
