Role Overview
Managed Service Analyst II provides technical support for IBMi/AS400 environments and core CMD/GDS applications, ensuring stable production operations, timely issue resolution, and reliable service delivery for clients.
What You Will Do
- Provide in‑depth technical and product support to clients on IBMi/AS400‑based systems.
- Handle customer queries via phone, email, or chat with professionalism and accuracy.
- Resolve issues related to installation, system operations, maintenance, and application compatibility.
- Troubleshoot AS400 jobs, CL programmes, message queues (MSGW), and system interactions, recommending corrective actions.
- Document client observations, recurring issues, technical findings, and support activities.
- Reproduce and analyse issues in controlled test environments across IBMi and integrated platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business processes and enhance overall product quality.
What You Bring
- Hands‑on experience in a production support environment, preferably on IBMi/AS400.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in DB2/400; knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is an advantage.
- Sound understanding of AS400 operations (CL commands, job tracking, subsystems, spool files) and comfort with Unix/Linux commands.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve application, batch, or system‑level issues efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively in high‑pressure environments.

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience in banking, finance, or listed derivatives is preferred.
- Ability to manage expectations and deliver reliably.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
