Job Purpose
To contribute towards the growth and profitability of GlaxoSmithKline through packaging of tablet, capsules, suspensions and syrup products, in accordance with the QMS, EHS and also to the local legislation, using all the available resources to maximum advantage of the company and customer satisfaction.
To ensure that all operations carrying out in packaging areas are running in compliance with QMS, EHS and Regulatory policies through people management and following teamwork dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
To operate the machine packaging machines including blistering, filling, labelling, & cartoning machines.
Contribute in maintaining good relations at the site in coordination with production manager, assistant managers/team leads, and staff involved in activities.
Foster team spirit and ability of critical thinking, analysis and decision making. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, counseling and in-house training.
Improve work environment by demonstrating and support GPS practices in order to drive.

Ensure that the products manufactured confirm the standard of quality and GSK standard. Make sure that the SOP and GMP are strictly followed. Help the assistant managers and the manager production in allocation of resources, launching of new product, achieving the KPI targets.
Must have complete knowledge of OEE and action plan to achieve desired target. Align with the site as well as Value Stream priorities and have understanding to achieve the same. Maintain good relationship with all supervisory staffs and look into the genuine problems of staff and try to resolve them at floor level.
Facilitate in taking appropriate disciplinary action in situation going against company define policy. Carry out all production related activities in SAP. Must have command of QMS and all related documentation, audits and Risk Management System. Must have understanding and knowledge of deviation and how to deal with the same.
Coordinate with engineering for preventive and break down maintenance of production equipment. Facilitate in management of staff allocation and rotations to enhance their capabilities.
Ensure the origination or review of SOPs & batch documents as and when required. Acquire knowledge through in-house trainings of SOPs & batch documents to relevant staff.
Attend all mandatory training and should have command of training delivery process.
Education, Qualification & Skills
D.A.E or Equivalent
2-5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, packaging, or production operations.
Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment.
Practical knowledge of production machine operations, documentation, and batch record management.
Familiarity with SAP or similar manufacturing systems and basic MS Office skills.
Understanding of environment, health and safety principles and safe working practices.
