What’s the role?
This role is responsible for overseeing production operations within a defined production sector. The primary focus is on ensuring quality, quantity, and adherence to production schedules while optimizing resources and maintaining productivity. The position also ensures equipment availability and maintenance, and directly supervises production staff, including Foremen.

Direct and oversee daily production operations to ensure optimal efficiency, superior quality, and stringent safety standards, while meticulously planning and orchestrating workflows to meet stringent deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
Analyze and monitor comprehensive production metrics (e.g., output, efficiency, downtime) and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring unwavering adherence to industry standards, policies, and procedures.
Lead, mentor, and develop production personnel, strategically assigning tasks based on individual competencies and workload, while cultivating a highly motivated and productive work environment.
Conduct thorough performance evaluations, deliver constructive feedback, and adeptly address employee concerns to foster a collaborative and cohesive team dynamic.
Guarantee product excellence by partnering with quality control teams, implementing robust corrective actions for any defects, and rigorously enforcing workplace safety regulations.
Facilitate comprehensive safety training, investigate incidents with precision, and implement proactive preventive measures to embed a culture of safety.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and minimize waste, while meticulously managing inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the seamless and timely availability of resources and proactively minimize downtime through diligent equipment maintenance.
Communicate strategic production goals and updates to team members and senior management, preparing and presenting detailed reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Serve as a pivotal liaison between production staff and executive management, adeptly addressing and resolving production-related issues with urgency and precision.
Conduct root cause analysis of production delays or inefficiencies, demonstrating agility in adapting to shifting priorities and unexpected challenges, while providing targeted training opportunities for skill enhancement.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, supporting career growth and succession planning within the production team.
Do you qualify?
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations.
Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles.
Knowledge of production equipment, processes, and relevant industry technologies.
Language & Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with management, supervisors, coworkers, and external auditors (e.g., FDA).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced production professional with a hands-on understanding of manufacturing processes, able to manage operations efficiently while supporting quality, safety, and productivity goals.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and inventory management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Excel, Word.
