Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $73,000 - $124,000 annually with additional bonus potential
Roles & Responsibilities
· Provide leadership for assigned production lines by supervising employees through effective onboarding, communication of job expectations, training, coaching, and performance feedback. Actively engage employees in personal and professional development opportunities.
· Communicate all necessary operational, staffing, and performance information to team members and incoming shift supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions.
· Execute departmental action plans and implement corrective actions that address root causes and deliver sustainable solutions
· Meet production operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service requirements using MOS, the company’s continuous improvement system.
· Identify, analyze, and resolve production issues while proactively driving process improvements.
· Foster a collaborative and cooperative work environment within the department and across cross-functional teams.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, cost control, and customer service.
· Ensure production priorities are met by adhering to weekly production schedules and managing daily operational requirements.
· Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, monitoring workflow, establishing priorities, revising schedules as needed, and resolving operational challenges.
· Accurately complete payroll and related administrative requirements in a timely manner.
· Track and record production results by completing daily shift production reports and calculating performance in alignment with TMOS standard work.
· Complete all required documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
· Ensure departmental work practices comply with food safety standards, employee safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
· Communicate regularly with peers and cross-functional partners; actively participate in problem-solving efforts and project-based teamwork.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
· Requires sound supervisory and organizational skills
· Ability to accomplish established goals through the efforts of others by motivating, fostering teamwork, resolving conflict, coaching, safety management, production planning and manufacturing control planning.
· SAP or manufacturing tracking systems or similar software highly preferred.
· Strong Office 365 experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· Good understanding of manufacturing processes related to the food or beverage industry.
· Strong problem solving and follow-up skills
· Experience leading small projects. i.e. project management
· Results driven with high personal ownership
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
· Must be able to perform the following: standing, climbing, pulling, and or pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and stooping.
· Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
Minimum Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED required, Associates’ degree preferred.
· Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience.
· Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
· Strong project management skills
· Excellent communication written/verbal is required
