How you will make contributions that matter

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at the Kiewa site. This newly created role supports our transition to a four-on, four-off day shift structure within the Cream Cheese Department. You will play a pivotal role in leading operational excellence, driving safety and quality standards, and managing change across the department.

• Lead and coordinate the team while working closely with leading hands.
• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and company policies.
• Manage rostering, leave approvals, training plans, and skill coverage.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead toolbox talks and daily meetings.
• Monitor plant KPIs (throughput, yield, waste reduction) and collaborate with Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Represent the department in daily operations meetings and liaise with warehousing and other functions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and investigate incidents promptly.

About You

• Proven leadership experience in food manufacturing (minimum 5 years at a senior or team leader level).
• Strong people management skills with the ability to lead change and manage diverse personalities.
• Extensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices; dairy experience is highly regarded.
• Skilled communicator with experience in setting and monitoring KPIs.
• Familiarity with SAP and production planning systems.
• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
