Role Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth performance within the assigned manufacturing area of a pump production facility. Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager, this role oversees production operations, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and manages a team of 19 direct‑labor employees to achieve operational and financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Promote and support all HSE activities, including audits, improvement plans, and special events.
• Ensure all required safety training and documentation are current and compliant with company procedures.
• Manage Assembly resources throughout the manufacturing process and drive continuous improvement.
• Assess task performance according to OMS/Work Instructions.
• Conduct problem‑solving activities using lean manufacturing principles.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and 5S projects.
• Maintain and promote a safe working environment within the plant.
• Manage KPIs including FPY, utilization, efficiency, productivity, attendance, scrap, and rework.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 procedures and the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Maintain and review area performance metrics; participate in plant review meetings.
• Achieve monthly and annual financial targets for Operating Income and Cash Flow according to the Plan/Forecast.
• Develop and maintain a Cross‑Training Matrix for personnel development and operational flexibility.
• Serve as a people manager for 19 direct‑labor employees.
• Lead with integrity and promote positive leadership and trust.
• Act as a problem‑solver leader.

• Participate in training to enhance product knowledge and professional skills.

Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience in rotating equipment.
• Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree, or Certified Implementation Engineer.
• Experience managing personnel and leading teams.
• Knowledge or experience in OPEX, Lean, and Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with the ISO 9001 standard.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, construction and assembly drawings, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to write technical documents, reports, root‑cause analyses, and correspondence.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments.
• Ability to communicate effectively cross‑functionally and with customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
