We’re excited to offer a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our team as a Production Supervisor / Batcher, supporting our Concrete Operations in Tamworth.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Concrete Plant Manager and act as their second-in-command, ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about safety, results-driven, and committed to delivering excellent service. Strong communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers are essential. Confidence with computers and previous batching experience will be highly regarded, but if you’re the right fit, we’re happy to provide training.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position offers outstanding career development opportunities within the industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience in concrete production, quarry materials, plant operations, batching, scheduling, and logistics.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with overtime and Saturday work as required. Start and finish times may vary, so flexibility is important.
In your new role with us, you will:
Manage batching and loading of Company fleet for delivery to our valued customers
Supervise and manage a team of drivers, providing daily direction and operational support
Control quality and plant maintenance
Assume the responsibility of looking after the yard and ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained
Have total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm
Ensuring stock levels are maintained and ordering of raw materials to meet daily production requirements

What we offer:
Base rate of $33.25 - $37.79 per hour plus super and paid overtime (annual EA rate increase takes place in March 2026)
