Avis Budget Group is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Edmonton team.
What you will be doing:
Ensure a safe work environment and processes in and around our shops.
Oversee the fleet distribution within the region.
Assigns work and provides supervision and support to associates by scheduling responsible work groups.
Communicate and delegate daily tasks for the department
Collaborate between multiple locations and interdepartmental teams to achieve goals
Drive compliance, performance, efficiency, and proficiency on various objectives
Review various reports relating to fleet levels, and take immediate action on opportunities
Monitor asset control, ensuring that current fleet is properly inventoried and escalation action is taken on missing vehicles
Oversee organization of vehicles on lot to ensure that quick action is taken for vehicles based on their status
Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the pool, and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.
Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures for area of responsibility.
Ensure proper use of purchase orders, receipt of services and payment of invoices.
Submit invoices for approval/payment.

High School degree required.
Proven ability to engage a team and drive results.
Strong process orientation with a focus on continuous improvement.
Excellent analytical, creative problem solving and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to learn new technology.
Proficient computer skills including Excel spreadsheet knowledge.

Must have the ability to delegate effectively.
Must be able to collaborate between interdepartmental teams.
Must have strong time management skills.
Must be adaptable and flexible, ability to quickly change direction and focus.
Must be self-starter with ability to work autonomously.
Must be able to work in inclement weather outdoors.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
Availability - May require nights, holidays, and/or weekends.
