About the Role
Leads Line leaders & labors of two or above production lines to achieve the SQDC targets of the production lines. Implement CI/5S/TPM/TQM/TWI management in the production lines.
Your Team
- Production Supervisor reports to Production Manager.
What You Will Do
- Understand and follow company safety policy and environment policy.
- Understand and follow Quality policy, Procedure, Control plan, PFMEA and WI
- Implement safety management to achieve 0 accident/incident/near misses. Implement corrective actions on the line when accident/incident/near misses happened.
- Supervise the overall day to day performance, coordination, management and maintenance, of the agreed project to assist in obtaining maximum productivity, efficiency, quality and profitability for the organization upholding all aspects of compliance and standards and adhering to budget and prescribed criteria.
- Be responsible for overall production coordination, on-time delivery, product quality and production cost efficiency to meet department KPIs.
- Implement corrective actions on the line when 0 Km customer complain happened.
- Ensure high quality standard for end-item products.
- Evaluate, analyze and report reject or defect data.
- Manage and optimize the people according to production plan
- Participate team daily meeting & assign tasks to team leaders, trainers and operators in day-to-day operation.
- Maintain operator records on daily attendance.
- Coordinate with engineer and stakeholders to clarify and ensure production schedules, customer requirements and delivery plans are met.
- Control and maintain the progress of daily production volume & records.
- Control and maintain scrap cost in production.
- Control and maintain overtime in production.
- Control and maintain machine start-up / break down activities.
- Record, summary and analyze the problem pertaining to production, participate problem solving.
- Complete all corrective action as plan and schedule.
- Record and transfer information to the other shift sufficiently and accurately.
- Analysis daily & weekly production data and lead the functional team to Implement corrective actions to continue improving the QCD performance of the production lines.
- Leads production line morning meeting & weekly meeting.
- Develop, control and improve inventory status & material flow process.
- Coordinate with related areas to control and manage in-process inventory and end-item.
- Prepare training materials, Train, Certify and evaluate individual operators to improve their competency, then update and maintain their training records in accordance with training procedure.
- Maintain and update all operator instruction sheets of production line.
- Assess training requirements of all team members and ensure skills are developed to expected levels of performance i.e., new products, new process and new hires.
- Monitor and assist the performance of individual operators.
- Evaluate and continue to improve process or production methods.
- Continue to improve the machine cycle time and bottle neck cycle time.
- Implement CI/5S/TPM/TQM/TWI management in the production lines.
- Assist engineer in preparing production part approval process (PPAP) and PV build.
- Interview candidates when the line need replacement or new hire.
- Promote a positive teamwork atmosphere.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis in supervision/engineering.
- 10+ years related experience in Automotive Production Management area with SMT & Assembly production experiences, with a focus on automotive products delivery and a track record of improving production operation and reducing costs.
- Fair English in both written and oral communication.
- Leadership with ability to motivate and supervise team

- Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- IPC A-610 Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies
- Manual soldering skill, Rework PCBA skill or IPC-7711/21 Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies is preferable.
