The Role
As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.
There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, update, and manage daily, weekly, and long-term production schedules, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and available resources.
Analyze customer orders and forecast demand, adjusting production schedules according to changes in customer needs, machine availability, and workforce capacity.
Monitor production capacity and resource utilization to optimize schedules without overloading equipment or personnel.
Identify potential bottlenecks, conflicts, or delays in the production schedule and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Track production performance against established schedules, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing reports for management on production status, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance production timelines.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements within the production planning and scheduling processes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with Jobtrac as mainframe systems (job flows, abended jobs, reruns, restarts, scheduling rules) OR/AND experience with AutoSys as distributed systems (abended jobs, check dependencies, calendars, alarms)
Experience with JCL
Experience with batch
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and forecast production needs based on demand and resource availability
High attention to detail in scheduling, resource allocation, and production tracking to ensure accuracy and minimize operational inefficiencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners
Strong time-management capabilities to prioritize tasks and adjust schedules quickly in response to operational disruptions
Critical and creative problem-solving abilities to overcome production challenges, implement effective solutions, and optimize workflows
Process improvement mindset with knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous enhancement of production processes
Advanced English, required for frequent communication with US-based clients
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Experience with Control-M, TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler) and CA-7
