Position: Production Scheduler

Location: Ballymoney

Reporting to: PC Lead

Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a detailed-oriented Production Scheduler to join our operations at our Ballymoney site.

As Production Scheduler, you will have a pivotal role in coordinating production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and maintaining a smooth workflow in our manufacturing environment. Your expertise will be crucial in aligning production timelines with demand, while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse production orders and resource capacity data to establish a master production schedule.
  • Generate and distribute daily or weekly production schedules to align manufacturing operations with demand forecasts.
  • Monitor workflow and manufacturing progress to adjust schedules in response to equipment failures or material shortages.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and the delivery of finished goods.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication between sales, customer service, and production to manage order statuses and priorities.
  • Identify potential production bottlenecks and collaborate with department supervisors to implement solutions.
  • Prepare and present reports on production performance, including metrics like schedule attainment and on-time delivery rates.


What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 1 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of production processes with a proactive approach to resolving production issues
  • Proficient in using software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
