We’re looking for a detail‑focused Production Scheduler to ensure schedules are accurately executed across select work centres while monitoring and defining capacity to keep operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll drive the Order Fulfilment performance management process and play a key part in maintaining complete accuracy of all critical data fields, enabling reliable, efficient and data‑driven manufacturing performance.

In this role you will…

  • Maintenance of an accurate Open Order Book so systems can be used to identify when
  • product shipments are scheduled to occur.
  • Execution of an appropriate scheduling tool, for example, Fixed Frequency Repeating Schedule (FFRS) methodology to package finished goods and execution of a level loaded schedule to supply the schedule with any intermediates required.
  • Execution of alternative scheduling methodologies where necessary (i.e. primary specific).
  • Execution of a pre-defined Performance Management process to ensure order fulfilment, whilst maintaining strict adherence to the FFRS methodology and intent.
  • Accommodation of the Production Scheduling requirements for non-standards activity (such as New Product. Introduction or Artwork/Pack Change), whilst maintaining strict adherence to the FRRS methodology and intent.
  • Follow production orders and coordinate activities up to the point of ex-site readiness, to ensure Shipment Right First  Time (SRFT) performance is maximised.
  • Attendance at supply chain performance management sessions (daily) to represent select work centers.
  • Provision (to the relevant Supply Chain Planning Team) of daily/shift performance figures in relation to select work centers.
  • Maintenance of an up-to-date capacity definition for select production work centers, based on demonstrated output and CTS.
  • Constant monitoring, maintenance and complete accuracy of all Supply critical fields within all data systems related to the select work centers for which the Production
  • Scheduler is responsible. Measurement of Conformance to Schedule (CTS) for all Production work centers. Identification and mitigation of stock at risk and working with the key support functions in processing any inventory write off requests.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Planning / scheduling experience with a pragmatic approach to defining problems, resolving conflict, and developing practical solutions.
  • Good communication skills; able to interact with and influence individuals across a variety of functions (without a direct reporting relationship).
  • GCSE Qualifications or equivalent. High numeracy, accuracy.
  • Qualification in a Commerce/Business/Supply Chain related discipline. Logistic, Supply Management, Demand Management, Operational Management is desirable.
